Sam and Denise have been married since 1992 and have a heart for marriage and family. They have counseled married and engaged couples in God’s purpose for marriage, and the role of husband and wife as prescribed by God, and family relationships. The enemy’s attack on families is pervasive – the attack is spiritual! Healing and deliverance are foundational for the family taking back territory and advancing in the freedom Jesus Christ won for believers

Sam was born and raised in San Diego, CA and joined the military after graduating high school and served 42 years in the U.S. Defense Department – 24 years on active-duty military, and another 18 years as a civil servant. Sam received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Chaminade University, Honolulu HI in 1999; and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy State University, Dothan, AL in 2001. He has traveled the world while serving in every level/echelon of our military. Sam was not raised in a Christian home, nor learn God’s word as a young man. Through a God appointment Sam was born-again in 1980 at a gas station in Ramona, CA. He had little to no Christian discipling until he recommitted his life to Jesus Christ in 1992 and crowned Jesus Christ Lord of his life. In Jan 2020 the Lord led Sam to Relentless DC Church where he was discipled under the Relentless DC leadership and their equipping team. During his time at Relentless DC he began serving on the deliverance team. In 2023 Sam left public service to pursue ministry full time with his wife Denise in Ozark, AL. Sam continues his ministry studies on deliverance through Invicta University.
In addition to Advance Freedom Ministry, Sam serves at Greater Works Church, Abbeville, AL leading the men’s ministry and teaching on spiritual warfare, inner healing and deliverance. Sam’s passion is to promote and partner with men of all ages in vanquishing the enemy and see them walk out their God-given purposes. As a military veteran Sam has a calling for our veteran community. Sam is a gifted teacher and has served in varying teaching capacities in military and churches.
Denise was born in Montana and raised in various locations around the U.S. as the daughter of an Air Force officer. Denise received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Ohio State University, Columbus, OH in 1981. Denise invited Jesus Christ into her heart at 12 and crowned Jesus as the Lord of her life in 1992. She has a powerful anointing for healing the hearts of hurting women and children. She was a mentor for an inner-city Christian women’s mission for several years, partnering with women one-on-one with women to walk out their freedom in Jesus Christ. Denise has led and organized Christian homeschool groups and discipled mothers through her homeschool ministry.
