MIJI Definition
Meaconing, intrusion, and jamming are deliberate actions intended to deny an enemy the effective use of the electromagnetic spectrum. Interference is the unintentional disruption of the effective use of the electromagnetic spectrum by friendly, enemy, or atmospheric sources.[1]

Meaconing prevents us from reaching our destiny
A twisted signal lures us into a demonic ambush
Eph 2:1-3 ESV – “1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience– 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.”
- Satan rank is very high w/ power across physical and spiritual realms
- Satan/demonic forces create nothing; but pervert and twist God’s laws, truth and creation!!!
- Demonic forces twist to lure us into a “hot LZ” and ambush – keep us from reaching our God given destination
- Are you expending your ordinance on false targets?
- When we’re in the devil’s territory, they have the right to harass us
Intrusion inserts false information
The best intruders are not recognized until….
2 Cor 11:13-15 ESV – “3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. … 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”
Joshua 9 – The Gibeonite deception
- Our enemy conducts intrusion operations against us; inserting false information into our minds
- Where do you see this happening today in your life? Is it happening in churches? Government?
- Friends, family, social media and ourselves
- What coordinates are you feeding your Nav System – soul?
Jamming and Interference
The best intruders are not recognized until….
- Yes, the enemy can jam, but sometimes we’re the “jammer”
- Microwave ovens and Blue Tooth run the same frequencies, but a microwave’s power output is greater – and there’s “Electromagnetic Leakage” – the door’s not sealed enough
- What in our “house” is jamming and interfering?
- Abide in Christ – His Power is the greatest power source – it will overpower the enemy
- God wants all our heart! “Ungodly Leakage” gives permission for harassment
Truth has the power to pierce feelings, emotions, heart – our souls
Allow truth to confront the enemy’s MIJI in our life
John 18:37-38 ESV – “37 Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world–to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.“ 38 Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.”
John 8:31-33 ESV – “31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?””
Heb 4:12 ESV – “12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
- Truth pierces cultures, religion and family traditions, self-deception – when we seek the truth, we are freed from self and enemy deception
- Where are we like the Pharisee? – under “Roman” rule and not recognizing it
- Like Pilot, we can choose to follow a lie – pilot suffered from multi-MIJI attacks
- Jesus Christ provides BEARING – Our TRUE compass to stay away from spiritual MIJI
Discussion topics for you this week at home or with others regarding MIJI: 1) What needs to be cleared out of your life to keep from steering you off course? 2) Are you keeping someone / something close to you that is an ungodly spiritual jammer 3) Are intrusive thoughts keeping you from hearing / seeing God’s truth?

- Pursuing truth relentlessly advances freedom. Lies and deception bring pain and bondage
- Men, we are responsible for our “spiritual atmosphere” and our family’s atmosphere
- Counter the adversary’s MIJI in your atmosphere – “seal your house” w/ the Blood of Christ, God’s Spirit – stand on God’s Truth – “act like men, be strong”
- Confront pride – ask and search – where am I being led astray / deceived
- Learn and standfast on spiritual disciplines honoring God and His purposes for your life

[1] MIJI Meaconing is a system of receiving radio beacon signals from NAVAIDs and rebroadcasting them on the same frequency to confuse navigation; and prevent aircraft and ships from arriving at their intended targets or destinations. Intrusion– intentionally inserts electromagnetic energy into transmission paths in any manner, to deceive equipment operators or cause confusion. The intrusion operations insert false information into our receiver paths. This false information may consist of voice instructions, ghost targets, coordinates for fire missions, or even rebroadcasting of prerecorded data transmissions. Jamming is deliberately radiating, re-radiating, or reflecting electromagnetic energy to impair the use of electronic devices, equipment, or systems. The enemy conducts jamming operations against us to prevent us from effectively employing our radios, radars, NAVAIDs, satellites, and electro-optics. Interference is any electrical disturbance that causes undesirable responses in electronic equipment. As a MIJI term, interference refers to the unintentional disruption of the use of radios, radars, NAVAIDs, satellites, and electro-optics.
